In 2025 we were given some slightly different obstructions to the average year with the inclusion of a required shot of the protagonist reading a book written by a Portsmouth author, as well as the traditional genre and line of dialogue obstacles. We were asked to produce a Carry On-style costume drama in a period of our choosing, and so we set our piece in the mid 1940s, anchored by our film’s title and poster opening.
